LMK.com
Website and Content Strategy for Hearst Corporation
project background
In 2009, Hearst brought us in to build LMK.com—a digital platform that set out to make following any topic effortless. LMK ('Let Me Know') automatically curated news, tweets, photos, and stats into live topic pages using semantic tech from Evri. My role: build the site from the ground up and consult on both content flow and audience strategy, helping a major media company rethink how the web delivers information—at real scale, with next to no operational overhead.

Site pulled in streams from authoritative sources—news, stats, Twitter, and more—for living 'topic pages' on figures, teams, and shows
Aggregation tech (Evri) kept LMK a one-person operation at scale
Steered by leadership with real digital chops: Michael Gutkowski (ex-iVillage COO) and George Kliavkoff (then-Head of Hearst Entertainment Digital, ex-NBC chief digital officer/Hulu co-creator)
LMK.com would later be sold off as part of Hearst's move further into tech
